In 12 days, my debut novel will be released. Like a lot of events that have occurred over the last few weeks, this feels surreal. I’ve dreamed about it for a long time. I’ve worked at it for five years — yes, I first sat down in front of a keyboard in 2007 and typed the book that had been rattling around in my head for years. I hope to someday see that published but I’ve learned so much since those early days; I know it needs a lot of revision. The story is still a good one though.
I’m a better writer now. I understand what a reader wants, perhaps because I’m a better reader now. Still, to be on the edge of publication and, dare I hope, success — it is mind blowing.
I’ve got a marketing strategy in place. I’ve got tons of ‘ready readers.’ And I’ve written a damn good book.
So jump on the bandwagon. Sign onto amazon and ‘Like’ me — I need 50 votes to move up in their rankings. While you’re there, pre-order “Love’s Secret Fire.” Or sign onto iTunes and pre-order it there. Or keep an eye on barnesandnoble and when my listing appears — still waiting impatiently — preorder it there.
Let’s get this party started!
